dreamrealI' thinking of adding a podcast to BCN - it'd just be narrated forms of the articles, human-recorded. Would anyone be interested in this?

BombeDepends on who does the recordings!
dreamrealProbably me, since I'm doing most of the writing
BombeI would generelly not care at all, unless you get, like, Morgen Freeman or somebody like that.
dreamreal*nod* definitely not an option
BombeYeah, thought so.
dreamrealAnd I'm not going to do automated, either; I could, but then I'd have to rewrite the articles to generate an appropriate script and that not only feels exhaustive but... soulless.
BombeThat it would absolutely be, yes.
dreamrealIt seems to work for a lot of fools on facebook and youtube, but ... it makes ME recoil and if my reaction is "no" I figure anyone like me would have the same reaction
dreamrealthere are ways to do it REALLY well and the models are actually really good at it but... again, no. The effort to do it really well is actually HIGHER than the effort to just record a podcast with the equipment I have at home.

javabotdreamreal's title: "Terence Eden: I Paid People to Try and Follow My README | ByteCode.News"
ParaHuh, I hit semantic satiation in the sentence "His solution for ActivityBot, his ActivityPub bot project"
ParaI like that anyways, there's bazillion lines of terrible docs out there because no one bothers to read what they've written from the perspective of a person who isn't you.
dreamrealyeah
dreamrealI hate that sentence but... I mean... err....
ParaIt's a bit lyrical.
dreamrealI'm a lyricist! ... grrr, I really need to fix it, don't I. Do you think the subphrase is even NECESSARY? I mean, activityBot != activitypub, but they're pretty similar, maybe the link is enough?
ParaIssue is that it's entirely factual and there's no redundancy and the grammar is correct, so technically speaking it's a fine sentence.
dreamreal`His solution for ActivityBot, a bot for ActivityPub, was to recruit...`
dreamrealgooder?
Parawould "...,an ActivityPub bot," fit? It'd get rid of the "for Activity" repetition.

dreamrealI can indeed but I don't want to run a separate process for activitypub - that protocol is madness
