  71. nevet A classic move. Without a hint of doubt, I take 1. That leaves you with the last match - I win! Better luck next time.
  72. jreicher Cute
  73. jreicher That was fun
  74. jreicher dreamreal: you should let the human start. And give nevet the ability to take advantage of a mistake (it may already have that)
  75. dreamreal jreicher: How does the human NOT start?
  76. dreamreal In that game, the bot can't lose.
  77. dreamreal There's not even flavor text for it to lose. :D
  78. dreamreal jreicher: hmm, you mean have the human INITIATE a game without the initial trigger, I guess?

  155. nevet Nevet - Reference UI
  156. dreamreal Does that url work for you?
  157. jreicher What do you mean by "work"? Do you mean does it display correctly in my IRC client?
  158. jreicher Or that I can follow it?
  159. dreamreal Well, if your IRC client renders, yeah; does it display properly? Does it open properly in a browser?
  160. bot [jottinger/bytecode.news] New issue #231: Add advisory header-based API version contract (Accept-Version / Content-Version) - https://github.com/jottinger/bytecode.news/issues/231
  161. jreicher My IRC client will just pop up a browser when I click on the link, and that works. The page itself has a small issue though; the comments section is spinning.
  162. dreamreal Yeah, known issue in that client, it's an MDE thing. This is the "reference UI" and isn't meant to survive long.
  163. dreamreal There are no comments so it's just gonna stay there.
  164. bot [jottinger/bytecode.news] New issue #232: reference-ui: comment section spinner never clears on posts with zero comments - https://github.com/jottinger/bytecode.news/issues/232
  165. dreamreal the reference UI is actually pretty low priority in terms of features and bugs: where things matter there is in figuring out exposure of features, and whether they work or not
  166. jreicher Ah, the good old "no data" edge case
  167. dreamreal so I'm fine with "it looks like a dog puked it up" as long as it exercises the API well enough to know if the API is broken or incomplete
  168. dreamreal I *do* want it to work, because the acceptance criteria for a real UI is whether the reference UI does something another UI does not
  169. dreamreal Ah ha! I think I found it. Working on it. Also going to take care of #231.
  170. dreamreal or, well, START to take care of #231 - we have no versioned endpoints, we just want to anticipate them
