  1. jreicher I've tried to look up design patterns to give me ideas for how to implement things. I feel like it SHOULD help, but I'm not sure it always does.
  2. deepy are you looking up the patterns when you need one or in general_
  3. jreicher When I need one. So I have some idea what I'm trying to do at that point. And usually already have a way to do it and want to "compare notes" with existing work.

  9. nimaje are you sure you want your class loader to have a seperate 'delegate' instead of using the parent class loader for that?
  10. svm_invictvs It needs to pull in classes from the delegate under certain circumstances
  11. nimaje but are there cases were it should pull in classes from parent, but delegate shouldn't have access to them? how would delegate even work on its own then?
  12. svm_invictvs nimaje, The parent is supposed to be the bootstrap classloader
