  6. cheeser worth every penny
  7. hourfrozen cool
  8. dreamreal huh, new xom release
  9. dreamreal ~xom
  10. javabot dreamreal, xom is an open source (LGPL), tree-based API for processing XML with Java that strivesfor correctness, simplicity, and performance, in that order. http://www.xom.nu/
  11. cheeser whoa! talk about your xombie...
  12. dreamreal It's surprising and kinda cool - I'd forgotten xom was a thing thanks to jackson and, well, XML
  13. Chronos "strivesfor" oopsie daisy
  14. dreamreal Someone should fix that. :D
  15. cheeser xom was great, honestly. better than jdom by miles.
  16. dreamreal yep. 100%
  17. dreamreal I just rarely work with XML directly any more, and if I do, it's via jackson
  18. cheeser yep
  19. dreamreal EXML was the best XML API I ever worked with, then xom, then xstream, then jackson, then whatever the w3c came up with dead last
  20. cheeser pretty much anything under w3c was shit
  21. cheeser LCD and all that
  22. sbalmos but I miss the days of us railing on about XML namespace asshattery
  23. comrad https://github.com/ngallagher/simplexml was nice back then
  24. Swayze trad coding is great for nostalgic purposes
  25. Tenchi heh, jetbrains added remote dev to the toolbox app, so you can actually do remote dev to a macos machine
  26. Tenchi i'd been bitching about this every so often for a long time and totally missed that they added it last year at some point
