deeboanyone implemented a dynamically tagged gauge in micrometer? trying to add per-route connection pool statistics from apache httpclient5, but looks like micrometer doesn't work like this

deebothey have a dynamic "row" MultiGauge, but it's updated manually, not observed by the metrics exporter
deebohmpf should've googled before doign anything, plenty prs/tickets open for both micrometer and hc5 about it, with no answers
deeboand their updated metrics tooling does not achieve this for the connection pool, only for other metrics and spans in traces, and there's no public api to hook into

NeXeNrealy i prefer to track metrics at the global level. rely on httpclient5-observation and just configure gauges to monitor overall pool statistics. i mean breaking down by dynamic routes? that's like really explosive high cardinality time series data .....i mean i've been there before ooooeee man don't go there
NeXeNbut if you gotta go pre-route you might manually poll with some background poller to query the route states, clear internal stateholders, and update the gauge at fixed intervals
