36. 07:53 Para Grafana isn't really a span viewer in the sense, although it's not entirely pointless either.
37. 07:54 Para I guess the big question is what is the actual deployment target as these systems are complex enough that it'll be annoying to try to maintain more than one architectural system for the same task.
38. 07:54 Para When running locally it can even be a good thing if the db resets after every restart etc. as long as it fits into your devbox' resources such as memory.

43. 07:59 deebo aws' jdbc wrapper generates spans for every ResultSet#getWhatever, but dynatrace doesn't create parents for these, so have to add some custom stuff so they're nested and not shown as "rest api call -> 1000 ResultSet#get* spans"
