pr070calim trying to dploy to a remote docker can someoen help
pr070calalso i cant get intellijIRC plugin working
ParaWhat a hodgepodge of statements.
ParaFirst one isn't really a question, second describes a problem, third one is something completely different.
ParaIntellijIRC probably hasn't been updated in a good while so it's not compatible anymore.
ParaLots of people use IntelliJ.
ParaCan't help without knowing more, "deploy to remote docker" is not a problem with just one way to do it.
dreamreal1) yes 2) depends 3) why would you run irc in intellij
dreamreal2) also has the problem of this being #java and that not being a java problem
dreamrealin fact, none of those are java problems
dreamrealbut we're pretty open, if you actually have questions, maybe we can help
pr070calcan someone help me with using docker with intellij i run the project and it cant find main class and im using ssh to deploy not api calls
dreamrealyu're conflating things drastically
dreamreal"the project" is yours? So you're deploying your project into docker, and when you start the container it gets class not found?
pr070calyes but runs locally
pr070calim just using the sample at the moment
pr070cali have docker running on a sever
dreamrealplease use complete sentences, with subjects and everything, because YOU see what you're doing but WE don't
ParaWe don't also know any of your "thes". We are not mind readers.

jreicherpr070cal: do you want to push the image to your docker server or have your docker server pull it from somewhere else?
jreicherOr you actually have the image there already, and it doesn't work?

jreicherI think many people are just extra busy figuring out how to use AI to save time.
ParaAnd buying all the Mac Studios.
SwayzeAI doesn't save you time, it simply shifts the manual bits
Swayzeto more enjoyable places (arguably, some ppl still like trad coding?? lol)
jreicherShhh! You'll ruin the economy!

Swayzeeconomy was ruined when govts decided they can print it from nothing
Swayze(spoiler alert)
Swayzewhen they decided to let central banks print it from nothing and then lend it to them**
Swayze(i guess thats a bit more accurate)

dreamrealtake it to your blog, for what it's worth
dreamrealthis is a politics-free zone AND the implications of those issues tend to be limited to specific nationalities for how they affect the specific economies
dreamreali.e., not here.
ParaThe Mac Studio being just about the best thing for local huge AI models is kinda crazy though.
ParaJust like the cost of the most kitted out Mac Studio in itself.
ParaAlthough there is a bit of coolness in using Exo to run 4 of those to run terabyte-sized frontier models.
BombeI’m not even mad that my current MacBook Pro has 128 GB of RAM… :D
ParaI have 48GB model. Recently renewer my corporate machine, and we have a default model but if you take the effort of sending a custom IT support ticket with some kind of explanation to why you want something different, one can customize the laptop.
ParaSo I told them basically "moar RAM, less CPU"
ParaAnd thus I'm like one of the five people in the company now who can run both Docker AND LM Studio at the same time.
dreamrealmeanwile, I have a dell laptop running windows from work. This may surprise all of you, but I turn it on mostly so the corporate IT can run their update software on it. Everything else gets done on my mac. :D
dreamrealThe rest of the team tends to report that the update software takes forever to run; I don't notice, since I don't ever take it out of clamshell mode.
dreamrealI live in fear that they're going to take it out of pin-mode to sign in, since I don't remember my password on it.
ParaKinda funny, my work laptop is in softlock mode right now because it updated while lid was closed -> background kernel panic, nothing works :)
